BREATH PORTRAITS (2018)

The BREATH PORTRAITS were developed in a series of residencies in which Chris Leuenberger created seven breath portraits in dialogue with seven artists. Each portrait was made in the course of 5 working days and was based on a breath rhythm (score) derived from a song chosen by the respective artist. Each portrait depicts an artist in a specific environment breathing and moving to the rhythm of their song.
